Lord . . .

LORD, Thank YOU for understanding me, so completely.

Thank YOU GOD for knowing how great my need for YOU truly is.

I know if I were to sit here and write a gazillion words, spending the rest of my hours – still, it would not be enough.

And yes, chaos calls.

Life waits to be lived.

Today, this week.

And beyond.

Please, walk with me, talk with me – no matter where I am, no matter what I do, no matter who I am with.

Because GOD, I need YOU . . .

Only YOU know the emptiness.

Only YOU can give to me rest, and hope.

Only YOU see, and hear, what I cannot write or say.

YOUR Grace is enough . . .

: Psalm 131:2 – But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

• LORD, teach me how to calm and quiet my soul. When I am afraid, LORD, I trust in YOU . . . and LORD, I am so greatly afraid.

: Psalm 21:6 – For You make him most blessed forever; YOU make him glad with the Joy of YOUR Presence.

• LORD, I want to be glad – with the Joy of YOUR Presence.

: Psalm 37:7 – Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

• LORD, help me be still before YOU, and wait patiently for YOU . . . YOU know that patience is not my strong suit 😉

: Jeremiah 17:7 – Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.

• LORD, YOU are my ONLY Trust. My ONLY Hope. My ONLY Prayer. YOU . . .
