To Enjoy Life

LORD, help me to enjoy life more.

That’s a hard thing – for me, as a widow.

Survivor’s guilt plays such a large part in my mind and heart these days.

Rick still lives – but has a different perspective.

A better view.

I am alive today.

And a day knocks on the door of the morning.

LORD, please, help me.

I ask to have that childlike delight – and be able to find those treasures YOU have placed in this day for me.

I ask to have an attitude of gratitude, and to savor each Blessing.

LORD, I want my life to proclaim Trusting YOU with all my heart.

YOU are my ever-present, on guard, GOOD SHEPHERD . . . help me live like it.

: Matthew 1:23 – Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His Name Immanuel (which means, God with us).

: John 10:10-11 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they might have life and have it abundantly. I AM the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His Life for the sheep.

: Jude 24-25 - Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the Presence of his Glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be Glory, Majesty, Dominion, and Authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
