Light of my life

LORD, YOU are the LIGHT of my life.

Shine on me today.

Shine in me, and Shine through me.

Not only so that I can see the way before me – where to go, what to do, how to be – but so that others can see a Light in their own darkness.

YOU in me.

Not that I am anything special – just a cracked pot. 😉

BUT GOD, YOU as the LIGHT within me, and about me – Shine today.

Please.

: John 8:12 – Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I AM the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life.”

• LORD, I need YOUR LIGHT today . . . and in my life.

: Matthew 5:14-16 – You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your Light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give Glory to your Father Who is in Heaven.

: II Corinthians 3:18 – And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the Glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord Who is the Spirit.

• I am YOURS . . .

: Exodus 3:14 – God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

• GOD, YOU never change. Thank YOU for that. “I AM” – I love YOU . . .
