LORD, I want to please YOU – no matter where I am, what I do, or who I am with.
Even when alone.
I want to please and Honor YOU . . . with every breath I take, with every move I make, with every meditation of my heart and mind and soul, with every word I speak or write.
No matter what – GOD, I want to please YOU . . .
How do I deal with the 2nd guessings and over thinkings?
How many times did I ask Rick, “Are we ok? Anything wrong? How do you feel about me?” – not for pats on the back.
But because of those 2nd guessings and overthinkings.
How do I know that YOU are pleased with me?
Is it when others approve?
Or when they disapprove?
Is it when things are going good and easier in my life?
Is it when there is a brick wall at every turn?
Is it when I have answers and clarity?
Is it when I am surrounded by nothing but darkness?
How do I know that I am on the right way, seeking to Please YOU – and YOU alone?
I don’t see YOUR Face
I don’t hear YOUR Voice
I don’t know YOUR Presence
Not in a way that my humanity can see, or hear, or know.
Faith is hard, GOD . . . and only YOU can give me the Faith I need to do this.
Please GOD, Help me.
: Ephesians 5:7-10 – Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of Light (for the fruit of Light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.
- LORD, please. Help me.
: Matthew 23:8 – But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.
- LORD, Teach me, please.
: Matthew 6:1 – Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father Who is in Heaven.
- LORD, I only want others to see JESUS in me. please.
