LORD, YOU are, and must remain, my Focus.
Please, help me learn how to turn my eyes on JESUS, to look full into HIS Wonderful Face – and to allow the things of this earth to grow strangely dim in the Light of HIS Glory and Grace.
There is much on my mind today.
So many are heavy upon my heart.
My soul feels little but anguish.
Life is hard, and too many times – well, it just sucks!
GOD, YOU never change.
YOU are the Same – yesterday, today and forever.
YOU are Forever the Faithful ONE . . .
Oh how I need YOUR Stability in my life, today.
: Hebrews 12:1-2 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the Founder and Perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.
- These words are ever more precious to me. GOD, help me please. Thank YOU for those 3 words “despising the shame” – I needed those words today.
: Psalm 102:26-27 – They will perish, but You will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but You are the Same, and Your years have no end.
