Peace, be still . . .

Published on 5 August 2024 at 07:59

LORD our GOD, YOU are good – no matter what life is.

When the “even-if” moments are hard upon us – YOU are still GOD, and YOU are still good.

I want YOU active in my life.

So much so that YOUR Word is the reality of my life – “It is no longer I who lives, but CHRIST Who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by Faith in the SON of GOD, Who Loved me, and Gave Himself up for me.”

I ask that YOU will make me increasingly aware of YOUR Presence in my life.

In the little things, and the big moments.

Open my eyes, my heart, to see YOUR Blessings, however they may be in my life.

LORD, when I am afraid – so very afraid, more and more these days – I want to trust YOU . . . first, not as a last resort.

Yes, LORD, I ask for YOUR Peace.

That’s what I need most as a widow – just YOUR Peace that passes all understanding.

Peace to know YOU.

Peace to be still and quiet.

Peace to just breathe.

YOU know my needs.

YOU know my anxious thoughts.

YOU know my life, me.

Open my ears to listen to YOU, to hear YOU, to tune out other voices so that I can hear YOU more clearly.

Teach me to receive YOUR Peace.

“Peace, be still.”

: Psalm 34:8 – Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

  • Thank YOU GOD!!!!!

: Genesis 16:13-14 – So she called the Name of the Lord Who spoke to her, “You are the God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen Him Who looks after me.” Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered.

  • I love all YOUR NAMES, but even more I love this NAME – JEHOVAH-ORI . . .

: John 20:19 – On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

  • Please, be with me. And speak Peace.

: Colossians 3:15 – And let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

  • LORD, teach me to LET YOUR Peace rule. I have that power, please, help me use it. For YOU and for YOUR Glory.
