LORD, all I can do is trust in YOU.
When my faith feels so small, and the mountains seem so big – LORD, help me trust in YOU.
To believe with that “knowing that I know that I know that I know” – YOU are taking care of me.
To trust YOU with all my heart
To lean not on my own understanding
In all my ways, to acknowledge YOU . . .
YOU will order my steps and direct my paths.
YOU are Able, YOU are Proven
YOU are Forever the Faithful ONE . . .
More times than I can count, the only word I can say – “JESUS”.
JESUS, help me
JESUS, I trust YOU
JESUS, hold me
GOD, no matter where I go – YOU are already there
No matter what I do – YOUR Hand is stayed upon me
No matter who I am with – YOUR Presence remains
Please GOD, help me learn YOUR Ways, and grow closer to YOU.
Open my eyes to see YOUR Presence in my life – even on the dullest, or roughest, days.
Teach me how to search for YOU, as for hidden treasure.
Please, be found . . .
: Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
- These verses now mean more to me than ever. As a widow, I say these verses over and over many times a day. It’s all I can do – it’s how I do this life.
: Deuteronomy 33:27 – The eternal God is your Dwelling Place, and underneath are the Everlasting Arms. And He thrust out the enemy before you and said, “Destroy.”
- Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.
: Jeremiah 29:11-14 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.
- Thank YOU GOD . . . please, help me not just to be hearer, or reader, of this Word – but a do-er.
