Forgiveness

LORD GOD, Thank YOU for YOUR Forgiveness.

I do not understand and cannot comprehend how.

But Thank YOU GOD . . .

Help me, please – to believe, to accept.

YOUR Forgiveness.

That YOU have not cast me away from YOUR Presence, but that YOU have cast my sin away from me – as far as the east is from the west, from One outstretched Arm to the Other.

That YOU have not taken YOUR SPIRIT from me, but that YOU have cast my iniquities into the sea of forgetfulness, to be remembered no more forever.

And in being forgiven – there is a step more of freedom.

And that is in forgiving others.

As well as forgiving myself.

Who am I to say that I cannot, should not, will not, forgive others, or myself – when YOU have forgiven me so great a debt?!

LORD, help me to walk forward into this day, into my life – free.

Forgiven.

Forgiving.

In JESUS’ NAME I ask . . .

: Psalm 68:19 – Blessed be the Lord, Who daily bears us up; God is our Salvation.

• Thank YOU GOD . . .

: I John 1:7-9 – But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

• LORD, teach me how to walk in the Light. To have fellowship with others. And to trust YOU . . .

: I John 4:18 – There is no fear in Love, but perfect Love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in Love.

• Thank YOU GOD . . . Thank YOU . . . I love YOU . . . because YOU first Loved me.
