Even in the mundane

LORD, in the most mundane ways of life and living – I need YOU, just as YOU are . . .

It’s so easy (too easy) to form my own opinions and judgments about people, places, events, situations and circumstances.

And once formed, it’s a “natural” step into that vortex of emotions and thoughts.

A vortex that is so hard to break free from.

YOU have called me to walk with YOU . . .

And to talk with YOU . . .

As well as allowing YOU to BE WHO YOU are . . .

YOU are GOD . . .

YOU are CREATOR . . .

YOU are the GOOD SHEPHERD . . .

YOU are KING of all kings . . .

YOU are LORD of all lords . . .

YOU are the POTTER . . .

YOU are . . . well, YOU 😉

Please, teach me (and help me learn) to let go and let YOU be YOU . . .

Let YOU BE GOD in my life.

In my days, and in my nights. 

No matter where I am.

No matter what I do.

No matter who I am with.

I’ve said it many times –

That I know 2 things for sure and for certain –

1. There IS a GOD . . .
2. I am not HIM!!!!!

I don’t understand all YOUR Thoughts and Ways.

But nowhere do YOU tell me to – nor that I must.

YOU tell me to be still and know YOU . . .

YOU tell me to trust in YOU . . .

GOD, help me not be so human about all this 😉

Please.

In JESUS’ NAME I cry out . . .

: Matthew 7:1 – Judge not, that you be not judged.

• LORD, help me to leave the judging to YOU 😉 YOU are much better qualified than me.

: John 17:3 – And this is eternal life, that they know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent.

• LORD, I want to know YOU . . .

: Romans 9:20-21 – But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?

• LORD, YOU are the POTTER, I am the clay in YOUR Hands. Mold me, and make me, after YOUR Will – while I am waiting, yielded and still.

: I Timothy 6:15 – which He will display at the proper time – He Who is the Blessed and Only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

• I love YOU, GOD . . . FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT . . . just as YOU are . . .
