LORD, YOU tell me that YOUR Strength is made perfect in my weakness.
YOU have much room to work 😉
My heart is weary.
My body feels weak.
My spirit is tired.
My mind hurts.
My soul – well, it aches.
And at the same time - I feel numb.
I once thought it all to be a punishment, or a lack of faith.
But after all these days and nights of crying out to YOU?
I’m learning that YOU have Blessed me in this way.
That I may learn to live by Faith, leaning on YOU . . . Trusting YOU with all my heart, leaning not on my own understanding.
And in all my ways, learning to acknowledge YOU . . .
YOU have Promised to order my steps and direct my paths.
LORD, when I am afraid – I trust in YOU . . . and these days, when am I not afraid 😉?
Please, be my Strength, my Hope, my Prayer.
: James 4:13-15 – Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit” – yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
- LORD, if YOU will . . .
: Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
- LORD, these verses have taken on a whole new meaning since becoming a widow. Thank YOU . . .
: Isaiah 40:28-31 – Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
- Thank YOU GOD for these verses. My Hope and Strength. My Prayer.
