Quiet with the Lord

LORD, time with YOU has always been important.

But these days, it is more importanter 😉

Please, teach me how to relax in YOUR Healing Holy Presence.

How to allow YOU to transform me through these times alone with YOU . . .

LORD, when I am afraid, I trust in YOU . . .

• When am I not afraid these days? There is so much in my life, and in this world, that stirs the fires of fear deep inside.
• It feels strange to say “Thank YOU” for the fears. But yet, it is the fears that have driven me straight to YOU - and for that, THANK YOU GOD . . . 
• And I am finding it easier to cry out to YOU . . . a more instant cry, a deeper and stronger cry – to YOU . . . for YOU!!!!!

LORD, teach me what is important to put my strength and energy towards.

Not only in these alone times with YOU, but in this life as a widow.

I pray the “Serenity Prayer” more and more.

• GOD, grant me the serenity, and surrender, to accept the things i cannot change or do.
• GOD, grant me the courage, with strength and determination, to change and to do what i can.
• GOD, grant me the wisdom, with understanding, insight, and clarity, to know the differences.

My life is YOURS . . . please, help me live it.

: Romans 12:1-2 – I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the Mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

• LORD, here i am. just as i am. YOURS . . . Please, teach me and help me to trust and obey.

: Psalm 52:8-9 – But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the Steadfast Love of God forever and ever. I will thank You forever, because You have done it. I will wait for Your Name, for It is good, in the presence of the godly.

• Not because of who i am, but because of all YOU have done.
• Not because of what i have done, but because of WHO YOU are . . .

: Ephesians 5:15-16 – Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

• LORD, wow. These days we are in are so evil. Teach me YOUR Way in all of this.

: Psalm 119:105 – Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light to my path.
