Hearing to Listen

Published on 3 December 2024 at 07:48

LORD, I want to hear YOU . . . teach me to listen – and to hear.

Teach me life lessons – how to live this life so that YOU are well pleased and Honored.

So that YOU stand up and cry out – “That’s MY child!”

I want to be teachable.

And to have an attitude of gratitude.

LORD, what do YOU want me to do with these lessons?

Live them.

Do YOU want me to teach them?

I ask YOU for Jabez moments, and divine appointments.

I ask YOU for Miss Clara times – like in The War Room movie.

Here I am LORD – just as I am – just YOURS . . .

: Psalm 42:7-8 – Deep calls to deep at the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and Your waves have gone over me. By day the Lord commands His Steadfast Love, and at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

  • LORD, please. Have YOUR Deep call to my deep. Grant me a spirit of understanding, insight and clarity – that I may know, YOU . . .

: Psalm 95:1-2 – Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our Salvation! Let us come into His Presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

  • LORD, help me make a joyful noise 😉

: Matthew 7:24-25 – Everyone then who hears these Word of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

  • LORD, teach me to hear, and to build.
