It's too much

LORD, there is much in this life – seems even more as a widow, compared to what I have known through the years – that is wrapped in anxiousness.

Even the good stuff and times.

Overthinking. 2nd guessing.

Just not being sure of anything anymore.

Not having Rick here to talk things out with, or to listen to my rants and raves.

YOU are here.

With me.

Always.

Please, Help my humanity to realize that, accept that.

Even though I cannot see YOU with these eyes, nor hear YOU with these ears.

GOD, help me to believe.

And Trust YOU with all my heart.

When the anxiousness is heavy and distracting, remind me to bring it all to YOU – with prayers and supplications, with thanksgivings.

Even Thanking YOU for the opportunity to trust YOU more.

I am so thankful for that one verse in the Bible, Psalm 56:3, that says, “WHEN I am afraid, I will trust in YOU, LORD.”

365 times the Bible says, “do not fear”, “do not be afraid”, “fear not” – and yet, this ONE time has become so precious to me.

Because YOU understand me.

LORD, keep me in YOUR Peace.

Even if . . .

In JESUS’ NAME I ask . . .

: Philippians 4:6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  • LORD, help me cry out to YOU more and more first. At even the hint of anxiousness – cry out to YOU.

: Isaiah 26:3-4 – You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an Everlasting Rock.

  • When I am afraid, LORD, I trust in YOU. And these days, when am I not afraid? 😉

: II Thessalonians 3:16 – Now may the Lord of Peace Himself give you Peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

  • Thank YOU GOD . . . needing this Benediction in my life today.
