Uncertain

LORD, I love when YOU speak to me.

There are times that it takes my breath away.

This is one of those times.

YOU, LORD, are leading me – step by step, moment by moment – through my life.

Please, hold my hand and help me Trust YOU when I am afraid,

Trust YOU with all my heart.

Lean not on my own understanding.

In all my ways, acknowledge YOU.

YOU, LORD, have Promised to show me the next step.

To order my steps and direct my paths.

BUT GOD, YOU never said YOU would show it all to me at once.

YOU never even said that YOU would show me 2 steps at a time.

LORD, only YOU know how uncertain and flimsy my future looks to me, to my humanity.

Not my future as in years from now (but those too) – my future as in tomorrow, the rest of this week, next month. Even today feels uncertain and flimsy!

YOUR Word says that the secret things belong to the LORD, I am going to Trust YOU that that means my future too.

GOD, I am so tired and weary of trying to figure things out.

Where to go.

What to do.

There are a thousand voices in the winds.

So many ways this life could go, at any moment in time.

GOD, I don’t want to worry and fret.

I don’t want to grasp at straws.

My life – past, present, and future, is YOURS.

Whatever YOU want to do – be it for YOUR Glory and for YOUR Name.

In JESUS’ NAME I cry out . . .

Afraid.

But when I am afraid, LORD, I trust in YOU. Psalm 56:3

: Deuteronomy 29:29 – The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this Law.

  • All I can do is Trust in YOU, LORD . . .

: Luke 12:25-26 – And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?

  • LORD, help me not be anxious. When I am – to Trust in YOU . . .

: Psalm 32:8 – I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My Eye upon you.

  • LORD, please . . .
