Worry

LORD, it is so easy to worry about tomorrow.

When my security has been torn from me – the humanity of security that was Rick.

Even when I read YOUR Word that tells me not to.

And I see the evidence of YOUR Word in the birds that eat out my door.

YOU are GOD, and YOU can do anything YOU want.

I just don’t know what YOU want.

I don’t know what YOUR thoughts and plans are.

I don’t know.

This life of faith is not an easy one.

To carry my cross TODAY.

To think about what I need TODAY.

To let YOUR Strength and YOUR Grace be enough – TODAY.

Open my eyes to see YOU today.

Open my ears to hear YOUR Voice.

Open my heart to trust YOU, to obey YOU.

Please GOD, help me do this.

: II Corinthians 5:7 – For we walk by faith, not by sight.

• LORD, help me walk by faith. I cannot do this without YOU.

: Galatians 5:25 – If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

• Please Dear LORD, take me by the hand and walk me in step with YOUR SPIRIT.

: Psalm 59:16-17 – But I will sing of Your Strength; I will sing aloud of Your Steadfast love in the morning. For You have been to me a Fortress and a Refuge in the day of my distress. O my Strength, I will sing praises to You, for You, O God, are my Fortress, the God Who shows me Steadfast Love.

• GOD, YOU have never left my side. YOU will never leave my side. Please, Help me do this.
