LORD, time either seems to stand still – it’s hard to wrap my mind around the fact that it has been 9+ years since Rick died.
Seems only yesterday that I laid my hand upon his chest, and he took his final breath.
I remember every sight, every sound, every smell.
Or, time seems to fly – how can our kids and grandkids be this old?
How can I be 63 now?
Where has 9 years gone?
Time is a Blessing – have time with the kids and grandkids.
To have time alone with YOU . . .
Time also seems to be a curse.
The nights that are so long and so very lonely.
The days that creep – while I watch the lives of others.
How do I wait patiently with YOU?
How do I hold time for YOU?
How do I not think about time as we sit here in the mornings?
Especially those mornings that I don’t get up so early, or the day calls to be started - before I get up?
YOU are.
YOU were.
YOU always will be.
Thank YOU GOD for YOUR timelessness.
But how do I be with YOU in YOUR timelessness, and live this life that has so much time involved?
Please, help me to focus on YOUR Presence – regardless of the time.
: Micah 7:7 – But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my Salvation; my God will hear me.
- LORD, YOU know I am not a patient person π Please, help me wait for YOU . . .
: Revelation 1:8 – “I AM the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Thank YOU GOD for this Promise and this Truth . . .
: Ecclesiastes 3:1 – For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
- LORD, please help me know what “time” it is in my life . . .
: Numbers 6:24-26 – The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His Face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you Peace.
- Yes, LORD, yes. Please . . .
