LORD, I need YOU . . .
Being a widow alone is vastly different than having my husband to walk with, talk with, and face the troubles of life with.
I keep reminding myself that YOU are my Heavenly Husband.
I just wish my humanity would get on board with it!
Sigh.
YOUR Presence with me is a Promise.
Not conditional on what I feel, see, or hear.
Not even conditional on what I believe.
The only condition – YOU Promised.
YOU are Forever the Faithful ONE . . .
YOU cannot lie . . .
YOU are Able, and Proven . . .
LORD, help me to be more and more aware of YOUR Presence . . .
When dealing with the troubles of life, and the stresses of the day – LORD, help me to cry out to YOU, more – and more first!
YOU are in charge of my life.
That is something I do NOT want to do – be in charge of my own life!
I want YOU to have it!!!!!
I want YOU to do it!!!!!
YOU . . . not me.
LORD, help me give YOU everything.
Moment by moment.
Breath by breath.
The battle belongs to YOU . . . so do I.
Show me how to redirect my focus to YOU –
Please DEAR GOD, either take care of these problems Yourself, or show me how to handle it.
That old song I have loved so much, and sang so often – LORD, move in my life, or move me.
: Luke 12:22-32 – And He said to His disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith! - O ABBA FATHER!!!!! this warrior is such a child. Please – feed me, clothe me. take care of me. of us. Speak our names to those we do not know. Teach me HOW to seek YOUR Kingdom - what that means in my life, today.
