LORD, I want YOU to be Central in my entire being.
Spiritually. Emotionally. Mentally. Physically. Financially.
In every relationship.
In every move I make.
In every breath I take.
How do I keep my focus on YOU?
When life calls to be lived, and done –
When there are others to be around –
When there are places to go –
How do I keep my focus on YOU?
Fears and worries are predators.
They circle around me.
They howl and charge.
They attack.
This warrior is a child – but I must stay on alert, on guard.
How do I live out loud this Trusting YOU with all my heart, leaning not on my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledging YOU?
How do I live it real – that when I am afraid, LORD, I trust in YOU?
How do I sit quietly in YOUR Love-Light?
GOD, I am not afraid of YOU . . . YOUR Love has cast out that fear.
BUT GOD, my humanity with all this living . . . sigh.
