God, I ask . . .

GOD, I don’t ask that YOU swoop in and completely rescue me from all trials and troubles.

Especially those of my own making.

BUT GOD, please.

Help me.

BE involved in each moment of my life.

YOU have a plan and a map for my life, for even this day.

So much seems to be unraveling around the edges – in just about every area of my life.

Alone, and with others.

YOUR Way is perfect – even in the midst of messy imperfections.

Me.

My life.

Please, teach me how to stay conscious of YOU as I go through this day, remembering always that YOU never leave my side.

YOU are with me – no matter where I am, no matter what I do, no matter who I am with, no matter what I am going through or dealing with.

YOU are with me.

I ask that YOUR HOLY SPIRIT be my Guide.

Step by step.

Moment by moment.

Breath by breath.

Protect me from unnecessary trials.

Equip me to get through whatever must be endured and dealt with.

Teach me how to keep my mind in heavenly places with YOU – as I trudge through the wallows, bogs, sludge and cracks of this world.

May the Light of YOUR Presence shine on me.

Giving me Peace and Joy that circumstances cannot touch – or take away.

: Psalm 18:30 – This God – His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord proves true; He is a Shield to all those who take refuge in Him.

• Thank YOU, GOD, for this Promise. May it be so in my life.

• LORD my GOD, if ever I needed this verse, it is now.

: Psalm 36:9 – For with You is the fountain of life; in Your Light do we see Light.

• LORD, I need to see LIGHT. Please.
