Weak, Weary, Worn

Published on 24 September 2024 at 07:51

LORD, my heart, my mind, and my soul – as well as this old body – are tired.

Weary.

Worn.

Feeling a bit broken, bent and bruised.

How do I bring them all to YOU for rest and renewal?

How do I let YOU infuse YOUR Presence into my life?

How do I stop my mind from racing, and allow relaxation in the midst of chaos – so I can regain the awareness of YOU with me?

Adam and Eve walked with YOU, and talked with YOU, in the Garden – how can I walk with YOU, and talk with YOU, in the garden of my heart, soul and life?

When Rick was alive, we walked and talked, we worked and played.

We were always there for one another – even in the midst of chaos.

Just a look.

A soft touch.

A knowing that we knew.

GOD, YOU are now my Heavenly Husband.

Please, Love me LOUD today.

: Genesis 3:8 – And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the Presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

  • LORD, I don’t want to be afraid of YOU. YOU already see, hear and know 😉

: Psalm 89:15-16 – Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the Light of Your Face, who exult in Your Name all the day and in Your Righteousness are exalted.

  • LORD, may I be BLESSED.

: Proverbs 4:23 – Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

  • LORD, teach me how to keep my heart with all vigilance.
