LORD GOD, Creator of all Heaven and earth, of the universe.
YOU are with me, YOU are for me.
What more could I need – or want?
LORD, YOU are teaching me to seek YOU – when I feel a need, or a lack, to cry out to YOU . . .
I sit here this morning and wish I had known these Truths back when I was younger.
And while it is a regret with sorrow that I did not know then, I pray it is a teaching and sharing time to others – and that they will learn my lessons, so that they can go and grow more in learning their own lessons.
LORD, YOU are GOD . . .
YOU can do anything YOU want to do.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, is too hard for YOU . . .
My humanity tries to control what goes on in my life, and in the lives of others.
To control, at least some, of what goes on around me.
Trying to help.
Trying to fix.
Thinking I know best.
FATHER, forgive me.
GOD, help me to lay my humanity in surrender at the CROSS.
Let it go.
Leave it there.
Let it be.
And Trust YOU, LORD, when I am afraid.
Trust YOU, LORD, with all my heart
Lean not on my own understanding
In all my ways, Acknowledge YOU . . .
YOU will order my steps and direct my paths.
YOU are the GOOD SHEPHERD . . .
I just need to be quiet 😉
