The warrior is a child

LORD, there looks to be a lot of problems in my life – and in the lives of my children.

Nothing is bigger or stronger than YOU . . .

BUT GOD, my humanity cries out – with worries, cares, concerns, fears beyond numbers or words.

I try to live with an attitude of gratitude.

And I realize that there is sacrifice in thanksgiving.

LORD, I am willing – please help me do better.

As the song says, “The mountains are so big, and my faith is so small” . . .

But then, I remember JESUS said that if our faith is as a mustard seed . . .

GOD, here I am – just as I am.

This morning – well, this warrior is a child.

Aching to just be held.

Please, hold me.

And please, help me just breathe, just be in today.

• Reasonableness: using good judgment and being fair/practical. Rationality. Sanity. Wholesomeness. Clear-headedness. Wisdom.
• LORD, help me to be reasonable. To let JESUS shine through me, no matter where I am, what I am going through or dealing with, what I am doing, or who I am with.

: Psalm 25:4-5 – Make me to know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your Truth and teach me, for You are the God of my Salvation; for You I wait all the day long.

: John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; My Peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
