Confirmations & Assurances

Thank YOU GOD for confirmations and assurances.

I often sit here at my journal, crying out to YOU.

There are many times when I write something that is really like it’s not me writing – that I am just a tool.

But then, humanity comes in.

I question and I wonder – who am I?

To think that YOU would use me?

To think that these words are truly from YOU through me?

And then.

There is something so much YOU that I cannot deny YOUR Presence,

YOUR Words through me, and to me.

LORD, I don’t want to question YOU, nor doubt YOU.

LORD, I want to believe.

Thank YOU for helping my unbelief.

YOU call to me to meet YOU in the morning, in the stillness and quietness of the day.

Here I am – just as I am.

Often sleepy, and more than I want to be – distracted.

But here, just as I am.

My spirit cries out to YOU . . .

My heart worships YOU . . .

My mind aches to know YOU . . .

LORD, YOU know I do not have a good voice – but it’s me, it’s the one I do have.

I ask for courage to use it – to sing love songs to YOU, to YOUR Holy NAME.

With my voice, with my life.

All that I am, I give to YOU.

May YOUR SPIRIT swell within me till I am in every way flooded with YOUR divine Presence.

I’ve been thinking more and more about letting go, how that less really is more.

The world around me says to gather in, and yet, as I look at my things – I realize that at least 9 out of 10 are just fluff and fillers.

No real attachment to my heart strings.

LORD, I want to grasp YOUR Word and hold to YOUR Promises.

To walk with YOU, and talk with YOU.

To know YOU as YOU are.

I want that more than any thing.

: Psalm 29:2 – Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His Name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.

  • I love YOU, LORD, and I worship YOU . . .

: Psalm 9:10 – And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

  • LORD, all I can do is trust YOU . . .

: I Peter 1:8-9 – Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

  • I love YOU . . . GOD, I love YOU . . .
  • Thank YOU GOD for Loving me first . . .
