Dependence

Published on 30 August 2024 at 10:18

LORD GOD, I want to live and enjoy the abundant life YOU Promised.

Help me learn this dependence on YOU – while learning independence from others.

These hard and tough times are teaching me to lean on YOU, to cry out to YOU, to be more aware of YOUR Presence.

So how can I not say “Thank YOU” – even for the hard and tough times?

I wish I weren’t so stubborn as for it to take the hard and tough times 😉

When I am with others, it’s different walking with YOU.

I am learning to not be so focused on pleasing others, but it’s been there for so long!

LORD, I don’t want others to be my bondage, binding me to them.

If I am going to be bound to others – let it be YOUR Love that binds our hearts and minds, our spirits and lives.

JESUS, help me. please.

May YOUR Life flow through me to those around me.

: Psalm 18:1-2 – I love You, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my God, my Rock, in Whom I take Refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold.

  • YOU are my Everything . . .

: Proverbs 29:25 – The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

  • When I am afraid, LORD, I trust in YOU . . . keep me safe.

: John 10:10-11 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His Life for the sheep.

  • I am YOURS. The sheep of YOUR pasture. The child of YOUR Hands.

Thank YOU GOD . . .

I love YOU . . .

In JESUS’ NAME I cry out . . .
