Strength for today

Thank YOU GOD for knowing me – just as I am.

Human and all.

Thank YOU GOD for accepting me – just as I am.

Human and all.

Thank YOU GOD for understanding me so completely – the human that I am.

Thank YOU GOD for Loving me more – more than I am as this human.

Thank YOU GOD – just for being YOU . . .

GOD, YOU know how my mind wanders – and how it often bothers me that it does.

Thank YOU for knowing and for understanding.

Thank YOU for YOUR Love that knows no limits, boundaries, or conditions.

I am learning to whisper YOUR NAME.

Crying out to YOU – sometimes audibly, sometimes not.

But Thank YOU GOD for always hearing.

And for always being there with me.

I pray that my spirit will learn to be more quiet and gentle, and more pleasing to YOU.

LORD, I pray that YOU will be able to shine YOUR Light through the cracked parts of me – Blessing others with guidance and strength to carry on.

YOUR Grace is enough.

: Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

• God, this is my Hope and Prayer.

: I Peter 3:4 – But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.

• Oh may it be so in me.

: II Corinthians 4:6-7 – In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the Light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ, Who is the Image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, Who said, “Let Light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

• YOU are the Potter, I am the clay.

: II Corinthians 12:9 – But He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Power is made perfect in weakness.”
