GOD, YOU are leading me along a way that is uniquely right for me.
Whether anyone else understands or approves.
Whether I understand or approve. Lol
I am becoming more fully the one YOU have created me to be.
One of a kind.
Which most likely causes a deep sigh of relief for those that know me, lol.
This way that YOU are leading me diverges more and more from those of other people.
Seems at times that my inner circle is YOU and me, alone.
I am trusting YOU to enable me in following this solitary path, to stay in close (closer with every breath I take) contact with YOU.
And growing in relationships with others.
Please, teach me to love people like YOU do.
Without hidden agendas, without ulterior motives, without selfish intents.
Beyond all conditions.
Please, teach me to be ever more and more alert and aware of YOUR Presence in my life.
No matter where I am, or who I am with, or even what I am doing.
Please, teach me to enjoy this adventure of finding myself through losing myself in YOU.
: II Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
- Being a widow has brought clarity to this verse. A clarity I honestly wish I did not have.
: Ephesians 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- As a widow these years, I have only felt more and more out of place, lost and drifting – without reason, purpose or direction. All I can do is trust in YOU – that YOU know all of this, and somehow, YOU are doing something 😉
: I John 4:7-8 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- Lord, teach me to love.
: John 15:4 – Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
- ABIDE: Dwell. Rest. Reside. To continue. To bear patiently. To endure without yielding. To wait for. To accept without objection. To remain stable or fixed. To stop. Believing, trusting.
The last roses that Rick bought for me.
